Chester Perfetto
His experience with insurance and investment spans over 40 years. Chet graduated from Reading High School in Reading, PA and continued on to nearby Kutztown University, and Temple University in Philadelphia where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Education and a Masters Degree in Educational Administration.
Chet served as an officer in the US Navy during the Korean War, and then taught school in the Berks County area for seven years. He retired from education after serving as principal at the Wyomissing Hills Elementary School. He worked in the insurance industry for several years before he and his wife, Doris, opened the Chester Perfetto Agency in 1971.
Chet is the past president of Professional Insurance Agents of Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware (PIA) and received the 1995 Professional Agent of the Year Award from the Professional Insurance Agents of Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware, Inc., PIA.
Mr. Perfetto won the award because of his continual efforts to elevate the status of the industry through commitment to technical knowledge, high ethical standard, and an overall contribution to the insurance industry. He is currently the CEO of the Chester Perfetto Agency, Inc. in Reading, and is Vice President of the American Association of Travel Agents, Inc. He is a member of the Certified Insurance Counselors, Berks County Chamber of Commerce, National Tour Association, American Society of Travel Agents, and the Naval Reserve Association. He has served on the boards of the American Red Cross and the Berks County Senior Citizens Association.
Chet has extensive insurance and small business experience and is available to provide consulting service on insurance and investments.
Active licenses include Property, Casualty, Life, Health, Annuity, and National Association of Security Dealers Series 7.
